BLACKSBURG, Va., Aug. 27, 2018 – The PRIME Factory has hired Virginia Tech graduate Megan Finkbeiner as the agency’s newest account manager. Finkbeiner’s new role includes managing client workflow, creating press materials and digital content, and overseeing the agency’s intern program.

Finkbeiner began working at The PRIME Factory in January 2017 and has been a member of the team ever since. After spending her first semester as an intern, Megan was promoted to Public Relations and Digital Media Coordinator in August 2017 – a role she held until her most recent promotion. In May 2018, Finkbeiner graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in psychology. “Since interning with us, Megan has been a huge helping hand on both the PR and digital side of our business,” said Justin Ashwell, managing partner. “In her new role, she will be able to continuously build on her current tactical skills while developing new managerial skills. We’re excited to have her fill this role at PRIME.”

Additionally, Finkbeiner’s prior role as president of Virginia Tech’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and internship at Padilla, a top 10 independent public relations and communication company, provide her with the skills needed to excel in the new position.
